Lova Delis

A Visual Experience

Lova Delis is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist creating contemporary, colorful, surreal/expressive work with a Southwestern influence. Her mediums are focused on acrylic paint and analog collage, occasionally incorporating mixed media techniques.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Delis developed her artistic practice through experimentation, guided by the mentorship, knowledge, and feedback of friends, family and peers. This collaborative approach has shaped a unique style that continues to evolve.

Delis has been intentionally creating work since early childhood, but in 2019 she decided to begin sharing with a wider audience by showing in galleries. Launching her work in Dayton, Ohio - her home of nearly 8 years.

Delis' work has since been showcased in solo exhibitions at galleries such as Diad Studio & Gallery (Dayton, OH) and Miami Art Works (Miami, AZ). Her work has been recognized with the 2023 Artist Opportunity Grant, and Best in Show at the 2024 Life in the City juried exhibition at Front Street Gallery.

Her visual poetry has been featured in notable publications, including WAVVe Global Gallery: Women Asemic Artists and Visual Poets and Glitchy Womyn, and her collection of visual poetry, Analog Glitch, was published by Anhinga Press in January 2025.
